Vintage Floral Series

Hello Everyone!
Spring is always such a great inspiration for drawing & painting. I have
been lucky to have some time to sit on the deck and admire the garden blooming below. As usual, I am drawn to floral themes, and I have just finished my fourth digi-stamp set of my new "Vintage Florals". These are created from original charcoal drawings & watercolor paintings. the digi-set contains images in grayscale, antique brown and color!

California Poppy Card - Watercolor

Here is a sample of a card made with my California poppy digi-stamp. I printed the poppy on watercolor paper, heat set the ink, and watercolored as shown.
The yellow and orange wavy lines background was done with the background digital stamp (colorized by me), and was printed on glossy photo paper.

Happy Day Spring Iris

I'm getting excited for spring, though there is still snow all around me! This card uses the Iris digi-stamp and the wavy lines background, along with some other digital accent goodies. I printed and watercolored the iris, and used a soft blue vellum in the layers. Enjoy!

Cosmos Field - Digital Stamp Project

One of the things I love about digital stamps is that I can create whatever composition I want, size each image as I wish, and I don't have to worry about masking! This cosmos field was created using just one digital image. I printed it on watercolor paper and watercolored with a wet-on-wet technique. I then mounted the painted image on dark red paper, and then on a coordinating cardstock wrapped in sheer ribbons!
